Maple Leafs 3, Capitals 5

Go Leafs Go!Mr. Belfour, your services are no longer required. Ed Belfour allowed five goals on 27 shots, including two weak goals in the first minutes of the game. If we're going to start putting points on the board it's going to have to be with Mikael Tellqvist between the pipes.

Montreal won, bumping us three points out of eighth in the East. Things are looking bleaker and bleaker by the game. A change in goal is a good start, but a change in attitude is a necessity.

Well, I can't say I'm totally shocked at the loss. Is it a bad thing that I figured it was a decent game because the Leafs at least scored?

One week until the trade deadline. Let's see if they can do something right for once.

But are we buyers or sellers? If we're sellers, who do we have to sell? Who would buy? If we're buyers, how do we upgrade with this damn cap?

So many questions... I suspect the deadline will come and go and we'll do absolutely nothing.
